Team Updates

1) Raffle tickets need to be turned in no later than Monday, Feb 25th! I have to turn them in that day...Please return any unsold tickets, ticket stubs and $$$. I have already received a couple...But please don't forget Monday! If you could put it in an envelope with your childs name on it that would really help me...

2) I ordered the banner and it will be here next week...If we could all pitch in $10 per kid that will pay for the banner plus the shipping cost...

3) The schedule on the blog will be changing...and if you got one of the schedule/rosters I handed out...remember, the Saturday game times will be changing! Everything else will stay the same...I will hand out brand new schedules as soon as the times have been fixed... On the schedule, I have left a couple spots for you to fill in your snack bar work times...As soon as the schedule is given out, everyone will probably end up working three times in the snack bar. If you have a teen over 16 years old, they can work in the snack bar! It also goes towards their community service hours.

4) I have placed the uniform order...I will let you know how much it will be (if you ordered with the team)...as soon as I get the total with the tax.

5) Picture Day is March 8th...as soon as I have a time...I will let you all know.

6) Teresa & Lori have offered to do our team raffle basket! Thank you ladies! If everyone can donate at least one item to put into the basket...it will help so much! I'm sure they will be emailing everyone with more specific items they will need to finish the basket off! Remember our theme is Scrapbooking!

Challenger Division Buddies Needed

MNLL has a Challenger Division for Super Special Players with different levels of ability...and they are in need of some Buddies!

Basket for Opening Night Raffle

Each team is asked to donate a themed basket to be raffled off on Opening Night. It can be any theme...so I thought we could do a scrapbooking basket...I thought this would be good because I can get a bunch of product donated by the companies I work for...but I really could use some help with this. If I could get a parent that would be in charge of this, that would be great...They would need to collect the items (including a basket), arrange the stuff we get and then wrap it all up pretty! Then the basket needs to be delived to Los Alamos Sports Park on the 29th - that's the night of Opening Night by 5pm.

This is new for this year...
Save time by ordering after game Treat Tickets.
No more running to the store or worrying if it is your day for snack.
Simply go to the snack bar before your game and order Treat Tickets.

Opening Night Feb 29th

MNLL will have Opening Night!
Feb 29th will be a great night for the whole family...
Lots of great things will take place:
Games & Prizes
Craft making booths
Face painting
Jumpers
Basket raffle
Meet Thunder - the Storm Mascot

Movie Night in the outfield - bring blankets and chairs
Food
and lots more!
The fun starts at 5pm and will end around 9pm
At Los Alamos Sports Park

MNLL Fundraiser

This year's fundraiser will be a raffle.
Each player is asked to sell one bundle of 25 tickets.
Each ticket is $2 each.
On the back of each ticket is two money saving coupons...
One from Bob's Pizza and one from Submarina. YUM!
Each boy will be given one bundle at practice on Monday, Feb 11th...
I need to collect $$$ and ticket stubs and any unsold tickets at practice on Feb 21st.
Please make sure you get everything in by this day!
The grand prize for the raffle drawing will be a family pack of Angels tickets (on the 3rd base line) with a ride to the game in a limo and $$$ for food!
There are other great prizes that will also be raffled off.
The raffle will take place at Opening Night Feb 29th.
The team that sells the most tickets will be the Field of Dreams Team that will go on the field at the Storm Game on May 4th!
